Core Contribution

In one sentence: Collaborate with our team to make Hey Harper feel alive on the internet. This new internship exists to inject speed and cultural instinct into our TikTok presence and translate what works to Instagram. You will collaborate closely with and learn from ecommerce and creative strategy to ensure organic content supports launches, reinforces campaign narratives, and feeds insights back to the wider team as needed. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues in the brand team to curate and adapt the large volume of content we produce, deciding what deserves to live where and when. We do not need polish. We need sharp instincts. We need someone who understands internet culture without overthinking it and who can help ensure our channels feel active, socially native, and even unhinged sometimes. Over your six month internship, you will help us better understand how TikTok plays into our customer journey and how it expands our reach organically. At the same time, you’ll make sure everyone who interacts with Hey Harper feels seen and heard.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES 

Content Curation & Platform Taste (30%)

  • Work with the brand team to sift through in house content, UGC, and campaigns

  • Decide what feels right for TikTok and how to make it hit harder

  • Adapt content to feel native, not repurposed 

  • Spot what is culturally relevant and what feels stale

  • Translate strong TikTok learnings into Instagram and Meta

    Social Publishing & Commercial Connections (30%)

  • Maintain consistent TikTok & Instagram activity

  • Align organic content with launches, drops, and key ecommerce moments

  • Make sure commercial messages show up in ways that feel natural and entertaining

    UGC Capture & Amplification (15%)

  • Monitor tags and mentions daily

  • Collect and organize the best tagged content

  • Repost and amplify content that strengthens reach

  • Make sure we use as much relevant tagged content as possible

    Community Engagement (10%)

  • Respond to comments and DMs in a brand aligned tone

  • Make followers feel acknowledged and valued

  • Funnel support issues to Customer Experience quickly

  • Share recurring themes and insights with the team

    Do your own thing. Literally (15%)

  • Use 15 percent of your time to explore, experiment, and create 

  • Test weird ideas 

  • Research trends

  • Go work out in our jewelry, talk to customers, hang out where they hang

  • Make scrappy videos without pressure

  • Bring back energy and insight

    • Have strong opinions about (North American and British) pop culture: what’s cool and what’s cringe
    • Care about aesthetics
    • Have ambition and want to prove something
    • Prefer momentum over perfection
    • Are organized enough to ship consistently and not ghost your own ideas

Experience

  • You have actually posted things before

  • You understand short form video beyond just scrolling

  • You have an opinion about digital marketing in 2026

  • You live in Lisbon or surrounding area, or are willing to relocate for 6 months

  • Valid EU residency required

  • This is a paid internship, 40 hours per week

  • No need to be enrolled in a college or university program
