Brand Operations Manager (Marketing)

  • On-site
    • Lisboa, Lisboa, Portugal
  • Marketing

Job description

The Brand Operations Manager operates like a conductor, translating Hey Harper’s commercial planning into actionable planning across every marketing touchpoint. This isn’t a box-checking role. It’s about helping the marketing leads (Brand, Demand, E-Commerce) to set the tempo for the entire team and clearing the runway so campaigns launch on time, on brand, and on brief. You’re a force multiplier for the Head of Brand, allowing them to focus on creativity and strategic direction while you ensure every plan, asset, and deadline is on track.

Together with your Junior Campaign Coordinator, you will work together with the Brand Producer and the Project & Production Manager to ensure everyone knows who’s doing what, by when, and where to go when things get stuck. You surface risks early, help assign owners to fixes, and keep projects on (or ahead of) schedule. When bandwidth runs thin, you already have vetted freelancers and scoped agencies ready to jump in.

You’ll work with marketing channel owners to prioritize marketing moments that matter. You’ll take the lead in bringing everything together for our flagship revenue moments (like Summer Sale and Black Friday), ensuring every marketing lead knows exactly what’s expected, by when, and what’s required to deliver. You’ll hold the team to a clear bar: no foggy timelines, no missing inputs, no last-minute chaos. Just proactive coordination, crystal-clear accountability, and campaigns that hit on every front. From the first insight to the final post-mortem, you’ll craft a repeatable campaign engine: that includes giving context, not just tasks.

Your briefs arrive ready to go: collected audience insights, angles, KPIs, guardrails, and timelines already mapped. You’ll translate high-level directives and ideas into concrete action plans that connect Brand, Demand, and E-commerce, and you’ll make sure no one is left guessing what comes next.

Think of this role less as “brand-side project manager and more as the cross-functional integrator who brings all areas of marketing input into the same room at the right moment. You report to the Head of Brand, with Junior Campaign Coordinator reporting to you.

What you will own:

Marketing Planning & Execution ( ~ 50% of time): Drive the planning and delivery of Hey Harper’s most important campaigns — on time, on brand, and on brief

  • Lead the cross-functional delivery of flagship revenue moments (e.g., Summer Sale, Black Friday) from kickoff to post-mortem

  • Translate high-level commercial strategy into actionable, cross-channel plans with milestones, owners, and deadlines. Own operational decisions on timelines, resourcing, and campaign readiness to protect launch quality and speed

  • Maintain the campaign calendar, ensuring priorities are locked early and deadlines are met ahead of schedule

  • Partner with Brand, Demand, and E-comm leads to align execution with business goals

Asset Production & Cross-Functional Collaboration (~ 30% of time): Connect strategy to execution across all marketing touchpoints.

  • You’re not the one designing the email or filming the ad, but you’re the reason it all shows up, shows out, and arrives on time

  • Coordinate with Brand, Growth, CRM, and E-comm leads to manage asset production and approvals

  • Spot risks early and activate internal/external resources to keep launches on track, tracking dependencies together with your Campaign Coordinator, channel owners, and Brand Producer

  • Monitor team capacity, engaging freelancers or agencies when bandwidth is tight

  • Ensure creative and messaging are aligned across all placements and formats

Brief Development & Marketing Enablement (~ 20% of time): Set campaigns up for success with clarity, context, and systems that scale.

  • Gather input from cross-functional stakeholders to develop inisght-rich briefs, starting with the “big idea,” then mapping it into tactics, timelines, and deliverables across all marketing channels

  • Support the marketing leads distill business goals into clear direction and timelines that empower Brand, Marketing, and Content teams to deliver with confidence

  • Maintain and improve templates, processes, and planning frameworks for repeatable success

  • Support & advise the Head of Brand, ensuring priorities are followed, preempting bottlenecks, and ensuring direction is fully translated into team-wide action
